CHEFHEINZ J. LEHMANNChef Heinz J. Lehmann was born in Germany. He began his culinary apprenticeship in Germany in 1963. He held different Chef positions in France, Sweden, United-States, Canada, and Cruise ships. He has competed in the International Culinary Olympics. He was involved in numerous culinary organizations including the American Culinary Federation, The Canadian Culinary Federation, Research Chef Association, The Institute of Food Technologists, The Escoffiers-Society Toronto & Chicago Chapter and Les Toques Blanches. Chef Lehmann is a certified Executive Chef. He has participated in numerous radio and television broadcasts in Canada and wrote articles for the American & Canadian trade magazines and newspapers. He was inducted as an honourable member of the American Academy of Chefs. Chef Lehmann worked over 30 years as a Corporate Executive Chef for Unilever North America Food Solutions and brings to the position 50 years of culinary experience that spans the globe. Managing the culinary operations and entrepreneurial aspects and overseeing experiences at hotel & restaurant food chains, ensuring that the best practices are implemented and commercial growth was achieved. He is continuing his passion in teaching as well as being an innovation leader to new industry beginners as well as experienced looking to build and learn new successes.
